Yorosen MM pt.2

Seems like Yorosen is comming back around full circle, going back to the group that the show started with–MM of course. This week it’s Risa’s turn, and the topic is–

Seijinshiki (成人式 ) or Comming of Age Ceremony!

She talks about how the ceremony is different in different places. She then shows pictures from Tokyo and their Purikura, and Hokkaido with their fashion show…then Risa suddenly starts doing a fashion show to her own music, and makes us take a fashion note of the color of her obi? (lol I’m not sure cause they morphed her voice to make it sexy)…and that’s the end of it–other than kimono, nothing terribly special.

The Sims break it down Resonant Blue style~~~

For your LOL’ing pleasure.–Happy New Year!

I must say the settings in all of the scenes are well done and resemble the ones in the music video. I give it a 9/10 xD

A Change is a Commin’……Kind of

Well I think you’ve noticed some changes around here, that is unless your legally blind, I dunno. Some of them have happened already and some other things will be changing as the days go on. To make it easier for you, I’ll bullet the list.

Here–

–The Blogroll has been deleted and a Links page has been added. (it’s frickin huge, complete with disclaimers)

–The Bigaku!Palace design is basically in a temporary 1.5v mode because I’m busy working on a new one. (I didn’t really pick this one for a reason, just to switch something up around here.)

To Come–

–Freelance Translation page…believe me it’s definitely in the works…

–RSS Feed to wherever

–Drafts will be edited and posted.

Well, that list turned out way dumber and shorter than I thought it would. In the To Come section I only listed the things that will for sure come and left out the sections that are dependent on how well I can update this design. The new sections would include a Korean section and things like that, but I’m really struggling with this updating business (and if you feel like helping, please let me know!). Well, hopefully the updates will come soon.

Which reminds me!!! This silly show Yorosen!

00-00-29

Will only be reviewed when MM is on unless I’m in a particularly good mood. This isn’t because I have any discrimination towards the Berryz/Cute/or ManoEri, it’s just that I don’t know their names or much of anything about them. Not to mention that the uploader i’ve been relying on is becomming…not so consistent with his or her uploads. I’m sorry for those of you who look forward to it, but Morningtime also reviews the show. (and somehow has the same design as me, hehe)

Yorosen Review and Preview Week 3

All I’m going to say is shut up about this past week and a half =]

I was having a pretty bad day until I found out who this week’s teacher is. None other than Kamei looking stunning as usual.

She tries to get them to settle down which eventually happens, followed by some hair primping from Risa.

Some massive full body writing from Kamei

Some talk about Tuna types (Northern Bluefin)….

Some quick comments from Ai-chan who cant keep her pencil on her desk (haha Koharu).

Some peel off the stickies to reveal numbers…

Some more blatantly bored looks from Koharu….(lol)

Some frantic acts on Eri’s part to keep their attention…

And her semi-serious annoyance….(they really need to learn to listen, haha)

And then the show’s over. =]

My favorite part of today has to be the end. I normally don’t watch it, but upon closer look, i saw Koharu in the background trying to just wave (way more than 1 time) at the camera while Kamei was up in the front of the classroom trying not to laugh. It wasn’t terribly funny but…compared to the entire show…

Yorosen Review and Preview (Week 1)

Yorosen 1

I should just start out every post with Blah Blah Blah sorry about not doing the last review, blah blah I was busy, rant rant Momusu is amazing. But truth be told, im not that sorry, that I haven’t posted the last episode yet, but don’t you worry, I will eventually post it for those of you who are video deprived. So~if you haven’t noticed the titles from now are going to be Yorosen Review and Preview since, dur, HM@ has ended. I’ll just keep editing so that each post is a batch of five episodes (hopefully this’ll work).

Before I even move on to the actual content of the show. I’ve got to say, I squealed. Every memory of every video that I watched before I got into the current lineup/shows came flooding back. Before the show starts, when they do the little sponsor overlay and the guy talks about all the cool companies. I dunno, I just always loved that part of the show for some reason, its nostalgic. The pre-meaningless talk between all of them before they start…

In other news–LOL “I am cool teacher.”

There isn’t even capitalization of each letter…*sigh* moving on…

A heel to head shot of the “cool teacher” sexy Reina.

She basically makes them pay attention and compose themselves. Sayu does conducts a little respectful opening ceremony of attention/bow.

Reina writes a few terms up on the board that has to do with the Japanese Prime Minister and his 2071000yen pay, him riding a special train for rich people blah blah, and surprisingly their all taking notes. Especially leader-sama…deliquient Koha is mouthing off back there too.

Reina shows an airplane, and after a few “Ehhhhh!!!”‘s….the show is surprisingly over. (with some ManoEri at the end). The real festivities start tommorow!

My Take: Yorosen was surprisingly ________ (insert word). My first thought would be boring, dull, or plain, but honestly how can you make a decent prediction of the entire show if it only lasts 4mintues or so? I think it’ll take awhile before the YorosenTrain starts to pick up speed, it just needs some time. Other than that…meh their outfits were cute.

____________________________________________________________________

Yorosen 2

More of the same thing, really. Reina is back, still teaching them about government things, im assuming.

Sayu knows the number of people in something.

More subsections of groups of sections of something….

Koharu then knows the name of someone, which induces a big “Sugoi!”

If they answer something right they get PuPu ice cream…

Reina gets to taste test of course.

Kamei knows an answer…so I think she gets a PuPu but by this point this show is so over my head…

The show ends with some PK and ManoEri

So the moral of this story kids, is: If you don’t understand Japanese, this might not make sense. (lol). We’ve moved on from the era of HM@ where things were a bit self explanatory, to a show where there’s more talking happening than anything, so I apologize in advance if my summarization skills aren’t up to the usual standard.

Haromoni@ Review and Preview

So this week is going to be a bit different, seeing as my computer more or less tried to commit suicide this morning. So unfortunately all I can do is provide a brief summary and a cap gallery.

So the first video (which might I add was hilarious) was from way back when the King segment was still on. Sayu tries to climb the wall only to find herself hanging by hand and foot before she falls off. She doesnt get very far with each try.

The next video is some looking backs of the adventures of Aho-Kame, looking back to all the silly things she’s said, including her Kamei-Clock.

The third video looks back to the 2007/10/28 episode when Reina displayed her horrible typing skills and just outright gave up in the end and pressed the question mark button like a trillion times.

The fourth video is dedicated 100% to Ai’s manly screams (yes!). Most of them refer back to times when she ate or smelled something super hot. The last clip though, is the one that I always show my friends who could care less about Japan, and they end up laughing hysterically everytime. The haunted house Ai-chan clip, where she belts out scream after scream. (I wish I could hear it…dumb computer.)

The fifth is one of JunJun’s “hey guys, guess what I’m doing” videos.

The sixth segment is Non Stop-Mitsui (original air date 2008/2/17) when she blew up a rubber surgical glove and it poofed off of her face.

The seventh clip is from Alien Catcher chibikko King segment where Reina had to catch a Stitch doll in order for them to win. This is the same video where she cries afterwards from sheer happiness. (original air date 2007/9/30).

The eighth clip shows some of the Mitsui vs JunJun rivalry, Koharu KY, and LinLin KY.

The next is compiled clips of all GakiKame completions (pure gold).

The final is a showing of the Pepper Keibu PV, for the first time they don’t preform it live…

(and congrats to Ai for that QED role)

Haromoni@Review and Preview

Well yeah I skipped the last two months, blah blah blah. I’m so sick of feeling guilty when I don’t do these…once again, but I have school now and an unbelievable amount of homework to do. Not to mention my level of efficiency is basically -1% (it taking me around 3-4hrs to hand insert 130+ caps)….yeahhhhh. So I think just for the sake of HM@ ending, me having a bunch of backdrafts, and having something to do during ungodly hours on a Sunday, I’ll give it my best shot. (lol)

Well moving on since we’re moving full circle back to the old HM@ days, the girls are all wearing their old costumes.

Sayu says her weekly comment and gets a teeny shove from Kamei.

1/5: Anyways, we move onto a bar scene, which is already a red flag….(lol)

This really reminds me of a talk my friend and I had about Kamei secretly being a “lady of the night”, doing petty crimes and stealing people’s Berryz CD’s. Along with the Pepper Keibu PV, our suspicions have now been confirmed.

So Kamei’s sitting down with a dart in front of her (go figure) and all of a sudden she wants to throw it behind her and have it hit the dartboard. Which gets a really harominzed “Ehhhhh!” from the girls.

And of course there’s no way she’s ever going to get a break and have just hitting the dartboard be enough, no, the staff wants her to get a bullseye. I’d be so out of there, omg. People can barely do that standing right in front of it. Poor PPP, I wish her a lot of luck on this one.

As usual the BIG/SMALL screen appears.

And of course, she’s failing horribly already, hitting the ground, the wall behind her, and the back wall by the dartboard.

On the 50th try she actually hits the dartboard (shock!).

Nothing happens again till time 100 when Kamei literally almost gets a bullseye, which is utterly amazing.

And what the hell, time 121 Kamei nails it right in the middle of the dartboard. She’s so happy that she starts gurgling at the end of her excited talking. Afterwards she talks about how tough it was to throw since the dart was heavy and etc.

2/5: Princess WaiWai is back, maybe for the last time, and she’s got HoiHoi twoddling along with her.

So she’s got three members faces hanging from a string tied to a stick (for whatever reason).

The first question:

Sayu: “Out of all of the Morning Musume members, which one is the cutest?”

And somehow the string with her face starts winding upwards, but the faces of the other members don’t. (or something)

I think the next question has something to do with “who doesn’t listen”, but all i know is it’s Reina and she’s not taking that decision quietly.

The next one has something to do about work, and Eri’s face starts wiggling, of which she replies something of the sort about barely arriving on time for work (i think), but she says it so quickly that it sounds borederline jibberish.

Sayu does her Y pose, which is starting to wane a little bit in my opinion (lol). Eri doesn’t hesistate to say “Look at the old man!”

Sayu begins explaining something about Handpower to Reina, when she starts calling her self Sayumi instead of WaiWai (lol).

Its Ai-chans turn, and might I add it’s weird seeing a (22) after her name now–Happy Birthday!.

3/5: So it’s Cabbage-kun being her teacher, as she’s suddenly a black-haired student. A glimpse into the life of Ai if she never became a singer, lol.

So it looks like devious little Cabbage is going to play pranks on everyone and see what their reactions are, and Ai-chan will try to predict them.

Apparently, as Sayu’s playing the little Pirate Barrel game, a real pirate is going to pop out of a barrel and scare her. (lmao, this is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, and they look so serious about it).

So Sayu’s in the room looking around, and once she puts in the knife the guy pops out, and she yelps and runs away in her little sneakers.

Then she just looks around saying “Nani” and staring at the guy in the barrel from afar, waiting for him to potentially kill her…

I’ve got to admit her fear is cute (and the members squeaking “kawaii!”)…

(the exact same position as before)

…but then she breaks the silence by awkwardly asking his name and introduces herself lol.

So now Ai-chan has a Batsu game (don’t even ask me) and she has to do an imitation of Sayu that reminds me a lot of her old Takahashi days but of course afterwards she’s embarrased and gives a little squak reply.

Victim number two is Reina, and the same thing is happening except she’s in an office and he pops through a table.

So Reina’s sitting down at the table talking to the staff guy, and as she’s talking to him she spots the hidden camera! (lol finally!) She is damn good at spotting someone spying on her, but the staff tell her its nothing and force her to play the Barell Game.

It’s almost frightening how intensely she glares…

LOL! I don’t care if there are 4 instant replays, that was funny every single time. Reina hops up squealing and almost books it out the room, but she stops at the door. She then asks him who he is, and what the hell his name is and gives him a “nice to meet you”. God, they’re all so polite, I would’ve been so pissed.

But Ai is (lol!) since apparently she got it wrong, she throws down her paper sign on the ground in a slight fury because now she has to do an imitation of Reina. Of which, again she fails at.

Ai-chan: (pretending to be Reina–beeing shocked at herself) Ai-channn!!!

It’s actually a good impression but it’s still ridiculous and everyone is cracking up at it, including Reina.

4/5: Unfortunately that’s the end of that, and onto Aho’s!

And they’re running around T.V. Tokyo (much to some staff member’s dismay).

Well they aren’t actually inside as yet, but they’re lingering about outside swatting bugs and pointing at signs that say DIGITAL.

As they go in, they almost run into the automatic doors and squeal about it, then they go in the elevator and get out on one of the floors and see their pictures pasted on the wall. (Cinderella the Musical, Bow 30 Degrees, Photocards, etc.)

So they open the closet, and find Akachin in a plastic bag (lolololol) along with Koharu’s Hayakusumi costume and some shoes with Risa’s name on them.

After they giggle about that they head to what seems like a security guy’s office, and look at his cheesey “I’m gonna kick your ass” picture with a gun in the background. So at that second the guy appears and invites them into his office and they surprise him with their aho-ness.

(a promotion for a TV Tokyo movie)

5/5: The final video is Koharu’s Voiceover segment, and she’s chosen Ai-chan from her Alo Hello (I want to say that’s what it is) when she was rollerblading.

I laughed right away. Koharu’s voice goes up, down, left, right, through a hole, and down a chute in terms of pitch, I think she might be making fun of Ai-chans dialect, I’m not sure, but you can tell it’s not really okay with Ai (lol).

I really have no comments about this episode except it was funny. I love seeing “scared” reactions, and this time Koharu’s voice over was really good and odd, aho’s were super aho, and The Lady of the Night owned the dartboard. This is definitely an episode im tucking away onto my HM@ folder to watch at some later date. The only thing I’m kinda sad about, is that the show is starting to get funnier just as its beginning to end. Not to mention Yorosen! is going to squeeze 30 or so girls into a 7 minute show, I’m curious how they’re going to handle that, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. The worst thing that could happen is that the ratings still go down, but I believe in the show (for now) and the girls, and the effort they’ll put in.

Oh–I think Ai-chan is this week’s boss. 🙂 (aka watch out for her consistent hilarity)

Haromoni@Review and Preview

Bah looks like I skipped another review last week, but the episode was quite boring so it’s not like you missed much…besides I’ve been on vacation for a week and snagged myself a Wii (finally) so I’ve been a bit distracted.

Anyways we’ve got a special start for this weeks episode, with Koharu preforming Pa-pancake, her newest single. So I’m warning you now, if you’re using a laptop you might want to make sure your speakers can handle it (not to be mean, but something about the song tore mine up).

So anyway, today’s theme is Hawaiian, probably because of the fan tour. Pffft before we move on…how could anyone forget it’s a certain bunnies birthday, ahhh! Happy 19th Birthday Sayu!!!

1/5:The first video in the lineup is of course another GAKIKAME quiz. So Kame is at a…______(blank) and the man is going over to kneel in a different room to talk to the audience that’s come to visit

But there’s no cushion there

So Kamei has to grab one and perfectly slide it across the floor so that when he kneels it appears on time.

Greater than 100 is BIG smaller then 100 is…SMALL.

So the first time she completely misses.

Same with the next times…as she tries to figure out how much to turn her arms so that when it slides it can spin into the spot.

She finally gets it on Take 54, and after a ton of instant replays, we see her corner kid come back.

Looks like there’s a punishment game for you Koharu—muahahha!

2/5: Oh…I guess you could do it right now. So instead of giving her a slo-mo scare, this time the staff forces her to make an Einstein face. (lol you can hear Reina in the background making fun of her pronunciation).

Wait for it…

Bam.

And everybody pauses…like they don’t know whether to laugh or not, but they end up giving her the okay. That actually looked pretty embarassing for Koharu (lol)

3/5: Ah who’s that cutie? Right it’s Aika back with her Sushi making corner!

So as usual she goes through ingredients and instructions, rolling each piece one by one, until she’s finished and asks the Musume’s what they think the picture of the Sushi will be when it’s cut in half.

Reina’s over there with her head tilted, Koharu’s shooting her a death glare, and Sayu creates the most ear-drum piercing scream I’ve heard from her in awhile, haha, because she thinks she knows the answer. (as everyone gives her a what-the-hell-happened-to-you look).

Sayu shows her board, JunJun over there thinks it’ll be a family when its cut in half (okay…) Aka-chin is pissing his pants at Jun’s idea, it’s random amounts of mass chaos today…

So Aika’s corner continues as she reveals what the sushi picture really was.

Holy hell, this time Ashe’s has outdone herself. That technicality of that fish is semi-crazy.

4/5: Yeah I thought I was the only one wondering where Risa was…So looks like she’s been memorizing “20 Convenience store Ice cream flavors” (hey Perfume, it’s Pino!)

Well taking a look at the computer screen, looks like she had to open a crudload of movie windows to memorize it…that sucks.

Everybody gets to eat ice cream if you passsss Rissaaa. If not they’ll probably eat you instead…

And of course knowing Miss Responsible, she gets the job done so everyone can get ice cream.

And Reina’s doing some weird head bob with a pile of HäagenDazs ice cream in front of her.

Kamei is eating her MOW Melon ice cream and gets the usual reaction whenever she says something…

Kamei: “It’s Melon (flavored)!”

Akachin: “Aho!”

5/5:Moving the final video, Koharu’s voice over from Rika’s 2005 Graduation concert when Reina was spilling tears pretty hard.

But totally destroying that touching moment, Koharu is going to show us how it’s done.

The Concert of Tears:

Reina: “Um…Ishikawa, there’s something on my mind.”

(nod)

Reina: “The hair in my nose…” (tears)

Ishikawa: “Let’s have a look see.”

Reina : “No! Please stop Ishikawa!”

Ishikawa: “It’s embarrasing then…” (random shift in content)

Reina: “Ready to launch?”

(launching noises)

Reina: “Oh, it came out…”

Yeah more or less, that was weird…but everyone seemed to like it except Sayu who found Koharu’s face in the shot annoying.

Haromoni@ Moutube pt.21

Wow I can’t believe we’re onto part 21, this time I’m actually okay with it, because this episode was actually decent. So this weeks theme is
(シンデレラ) or Cinderella, of course to promote the upcoming Cinderella the Musical…musical.

I’ve got to say everyone looks quite stunning in their dresses.

But lets start off today shall we, so what have Sayu and Reina been up to…?

1/7: You know a yankee and a bunny never make a good combination…

I hope it’s okay that this reminds me of Team Rocket.

Anyway–it looks like they’ve been stalking another seemingly random person except this time they’re after her phone! (Keitai Spies)

And the person is none other than this week’s special guest Haruna Ai. In a different room, they’re watching her actions as she gets ready to get into an elevator.

Sayu: “Lets do it!”

So now they’re hiding around a corner, from an unsuspecting Haruna who’s stepping out of an elevator.

They ask if they can see her phone, to which she agrees, and as Sayu distracts her with a question Reina fiercely grabs her phone. Whoop, Keitai GET!

Well the first order of business is to observe the outside, aka the trinkets on her phone. Looks like she has some skulls and handcuffs…

Haruna is explaining why she has the trinkets when Reina points the other way and tells her to look, and she takes back the phone so that they can examine it further.

Next order of business.

They have to hand her her phone first so that she can open it, but ah~~ she’s receiving a call! And her ringtone is none other than Yeah! Meccha Holiday by Aya Matsuura.

And apparently every time her ringer comes on she just has to dance to it…

She actually isn’t half bad…

But the fact that her ringer stops actually surprises her…haha

Haruna:“Ahh!? Chotto?!”

As she professes her love for Ayaya her ringer goes off again and she stops talking and starts dancing immediately…(seriously), that is until Reina turns it off and declares that it’s mail CHECK time!

The look on Sayu’s face as she fends Haruna off with a clipboard lets you know that she’s well aware that her ass could be beaten any second now.

Of course it doesn’t stop there, they have to go through everything in her phone including photos. Aw…

Aww…

Aww…

They also notice that when they were spying on her she was fixing herself every moment she got. Apparently looking good is everything to Haruna and she’d even go as far as using the bottom of the table to see her reflection.

If that’s true then why does she have this completely odd picture on her phone…

But then, Aww…there are pictures like this one that make up for everything.

Reina swipes her phone once again…and they both ask her if she’d do an Ayaya impersonation for them.

A better description would be a lipsync of an MC segment maybe…it’s actually quite creepy how well she can do it, but what the hell, everybody’s good at something.

She even takes off the shoes, and when someone in the crowd shouts “Ayaya I love you!” She responds immediately like she really is her.

Reina and Sayu are totally blown away by her 100% accuracy as she keeps going with her “impersonation”….

It ends and the members give some small “that was amazing’s”.

So in conclusion, never trust the two of them together when they’re loose in TvTokyo…hide your children, (and yes I’m running out of meaningful things to say.)

2/7: So with that onto the next video via Gaki request. (and after some massive confusion caused by JunJun, notice how Aika’s the only one to understand her right away.)

Cabbage-Kun and Ai-chan are coming back with the corner where they prank Musume’s, with last times victim being LinLin, but now that they’ve got one Panda they need to get the other.

The staff lead an unsuspecting Jun into a room with a bunch of really expensive items, and essentially they leave her there.

So essentially there’s going to be someone under the table that will move it so that the “expensive” brown bowl falls on the ground and breaks.

Before they leave they mention to her that the brown bowl at the corner of the table is especially expensive (so she knows if she touches it she’s in trouble), then they leave the room.

All of a sudden as she’s reading the names of things, the brown bowl falls and smashes on the ground.

Jun’s only terrified for a second before Ai happily busts into the room to tell her whats up.

Then the camera crew busts out from behind the wall to tell her whats up.

And even the guy who was hiding under the table…busts out to tell her whats up. (…creepy)

3/7: And thats the end of that…next is some GakiKorea, and this time she’s impersonating Beyonce specifically from a Dreamgirls song. I love that movie though, but there really isn’t much to say other than it’s amusing to see Gaki try to lipsync something in English.

Even gesturing to the sides of her like the other two Dreamgirls are really there…hey, she’s gotta sell it.

4/7:Next is some Koharu voice-overs from an old MC with Kamei and Mako-chan.

And this time everyone actually laughed at it…

5/7: OK moving onwards, its GAKIKAME. So we join Kamei at school as shes finishing a bottle of ‘juice’.

And she tosses it behind her head to the recycle recpitcale and woop, how many times will it take her? 100BIG less than is SMALL.

And yes she completed it pretty fast at Take 60.

So someone from BIG will be punished later–ahem (Takahashi)

6/7:Next we move onto some footage that we weren’t allowed to see before, from Ayaya’s birthday concert.

And guess who shows up to surprise her…

Haruna…!

She’s even around for face smashing fun..

7/7:Now that that’s over (finally) Batsu game Ai-chan!! For all the crud you do to everyone else!

HM@Boss of the Week: Goes to Takahashi Ai for being Takahashi-ish. She pranked JunJun and had probably the best Batsu game results I’ve seen thus far. Thanks for making this episode bearable.

What in the hell happened to me…day one I was completely ready to do this, day two I thought I was pretty motivated to get this done, and then day three I found out what it’s like to be possesed with pure hatred. It was like all of a sudden I had this deep loathing for HM@ when I tried to finish this review, it was like everything around me was telling me to just screw it and do it some other time, but then of course my little shoulder angel reminded me that there are some people who read this pretty religiously, so I can’t let you down I suppose. Still, I’m pretty surprised at my subconscious reactions to this…!

Anyway, sorry for my less than enthusiastic comments at times. Some of it you’d truly have to watch to understand.

NEXT TIME:

-Tanakacchi memorization

-The best-best friend couple Kamei and Shige do a street quiz on the street with a camera

-GAKIKAME

-Poloshirts and Lacrosse sticks

-Someone acting very un-idol-like
